As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer in the Infrastructure Platforms: Cloud Reliability Services TSE team at JPMorgan Chase, you will apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. You will continue to evolve your technical and cross-functional knowledge within and outside of your aligned domain of expertise.

Your responsibilities will include applying your technical expertise to projects of moderate scope, promoting workstreams or projects involving one or more infrastructure engineering technologies, and collaborating with other platforms to implement changes. Job Responsibilities
  1. Apply technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope.
  2. Drive a workstream or project involving one or more infrastructure engineering technologies.
  3. Collaborate with other platforms to architect and implement changes necessary to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes.
  4. Design, develop, and troubleshoot solutions for problems of moderate complexity.
  5. Consider upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and advise on mitigation actions.
  6. Troubleshoot complex priority incidents, considering data and system implications, and advise on mitigation, while balancing communication needs.
  7. Partner with engineering and product teams to ensure issue resolution and identify trending issues for product improvement.
  8. Demonstrate a high aptitude for learning and teaching, as product teams continually release new features and products.
  9. Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts and proficient advanced experience.
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure areas such as hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment practices, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments.
  • Expertise in at least one infrastructure technology and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
  • Drive to develop technical and cross-functional knowledge beyond your core product.
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies, with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Significant programming experience in applicable languages.
  • Certifications in Kubernetes, Azure, GCP, or Terraform.
