Role Overview:

This role involves leading teams to deliver infrastructure-related engineering activities within the nuclear sector. You will coordinate across electrical, mechanical, and civil disciplines, supporting planning, supervision, and review of design documentation. Key Responsibilities:

• Solid understanding of High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems.
• Proven experience across concept, detailed design, and construction phases in electrical engineering, preferably in industrial or maritime environments.
• Skilled in assessing electrical plant and equipment for hazard resilience.
• Ability to author robust technical justifications for electrical design modifications in high-hazard industries.
• Familiarity with industrial systems such as pumps, generators, HVAC, SCADA, PAVA systems, etc.
• Experience contributing electrical expertise to multi-discipline projects, ideally within defence and maritime sectors.

• Experience working within high-risk, regulated environments.
• Understanding of safety case development methodologies (e.g., HAZID, HAZOP).
• Experience in the UK nuclear industry, particularly in safety-related structures, systems, and components (SSCs).
