- Oversee both Windows and Linux server environments.
- Design and implement a modern CI/CD pipeline, transitioning from legacy deployment methods to automated delivery frameworks.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for infrastructure-related issues, with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term solutions.
- Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to respond to infrastructure and service availability incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with software development and business goals.
- Drive improvements in system architecture, deployment strategies, and operational practices.
- Lead and mentor one member of the infrastructure team.
Key Skills
- Strong experience with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, and SES.
- Proficient in administering both Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Skilled in diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues across cloud, system, and application layers.
- Comfortable operating in 24/7 environments with production-level responsibilities and high uptime expectations.
- Willingness and ability to contribute to a shared on-call rotation.
- Familiarity with internal IT support functions, such as networking, identity and access management, and endpoint support.
- Proven ability to lead infrastructure initiatives and support or mentor other technical team members.
- Experience of managing a small internal IT environment.
- Knowledge of email technologies is desirable.
- Yearly Christmas bonus (tax free).
- Beneficiary of the employee-owned trust after 12 months service.
