Job summary

Security Industry Authority is seeking a hands-on technology leader to head ICT Operations during a pivotal Digital Change Programme. The role reports to the Deputy Director of Technology, Data & AI and leads a team of 10–12 technologists across Service Desk, Cloud & Infrastructure and M365.

You will own secure, resilient services, drive incident/change management, and manage external suppliers to SLAs while contributing to the wider Data & Digital Strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technology teams in complex environments.
• Strong track record in network management and secure infrastructure.
• Solid grounding in information security, risk and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead ICT Operations with a team of 10–12 technologists.
• Own services: Service Desk, Cloud & Infrastructure, and M365.
• Ensure security, resilience and user-focused delivery amid digital change.
• Manage outsourced suppliers against SLAs and value-for-money standards.
• Oversee an operational technology budget of around £4–5m and data legislation compliance.
