Job summary

IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is hiring IT Architects to lead hybrid cloud application modernization for public sector clients. You’ll guide cloud journeys, design cloud-native solutions, and provide technical leadership across teams.

Expect involvement in enterprise transformations, architecture modeling, and secure connectivity. A Bachelor’s degree and cloud certifications are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• You will be familiar with AWS or/and Azure and be comfortable with microservice architectures.
• Hands-on with hybrid cloud projects, cloud-native services, and on-prem integration.
• Proven track record in both waterfall and agile delivery, with certifications preferred.
• Experience designing architecture diagrams, component models, and technology stacks.
• Knowledge of VPNs, Direct Connect, and secure connectivity solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural and engineering support for cloud journeys.
• Lead transformations of enterprise projects, ensuring solution integrity.
• Build strong client relationships and act as trusted advisor.
• Deliver cloud migrations and design new cloud-native solutions.
