Job summary

Hussmann is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration systems across retail locations. The role includes mentoring junior technicians, coordinating service start-ups, and assisting with job costing and quotations.

The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background, EPA 608 certification, and a proven track record in leadership and customer service. Occasional night/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• External candidates: 10 years in field or 7 years with tech school cert.
• Internal candidates: 7 years of experience with OJT & Skills Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC/R equipment in commercial settings.
• Lead and mentor technicians; coordinate start-up of new refrigeration equipment.
• Quote service and maintenance work; assist in staffing and project costing.
