Job summary

Johnson Controls, Capenhurst, Cheshire, is seeking a Lead Manager to oversee service and maintenance of complex liquid chillers. You will lead a team of HVAC technicians, ensuring high levels of service, client KPI achievement and timely reporting.

Applicants should have RAC Level 3 or higher, refrigerant handling certification, and a track record in leading technical teams with strong EHS, RAMS and COSHH knowledge.

Qualifications

• Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Level 3 (or higher).
• Refrigerant Handling Certification (2079).
• IOSH qualification preferred.
• First Aid at Work certification.
• Valid Driving Licence.
• Experience with large tonnage chillers.
• Leadership experience of a technical team.
• Knowledge of EHS, RAMS, and COSHH protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service/maintenance of complex liquid chillers (centrifugal, screw, magnetic bearing).
• Lead a team of HVAC technicians to meet client KPIs and timelines.
• Maintain and issue plant maintenance and service reports.
• Resource additional technicians from the mobile team.
• Manage site out-of-hours rota.
• Ensure EHS, RAMS, and COSHH compliance.
• Obtain SC clearance prior to start date.
