Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Field Delivery Manager to lead a team of HVAC technicians at a prestigious Cheshire facility. You will oversee maintenance and service delivery for complex chiller systems, ensuring KPI targets are met and client satisfaction remains high.

The role is site-based at Capenhurst with SC clearance required for access. You will coordinate workload, manage resources, and maintain strong relationships with the client while adhering to EHS, RAMS and COSHH standards.

Qualifications

• Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Level 3 required.
• F-Gas/Refrigerant Handling Certification (2079) required.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of HVAC technicians.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Review and issue maintenance and service reports.
• Manage out-of-hours rotas and resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, RAMS and COSHH requirements.
• Manage site tools, equipment, calibration and PAT testing records.

Field Delivery Manager

Location: Capenhurst, Cheshire

The Role

You will lead a team responsible for maintaining and servicing complex chiller systems, including centrifugal, screw and magnetic bearing compressors. You'll ensure service delivery meets client KPIs, manage workload planning, coordinate additional technician resources when required, and maintain strong client relationships.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

• Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Level 3
• F-Gas/Refrigerant Handling Certification (2079)
• Full UK Driving Licence

Experience & Skills

• Strong HVAC/Refrigeration background with large tonnage chillers
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
• Sound knowledge of EHS, RAMS and COSHH requirements
• Ability to build strong client relationships and manage priorities effectively
• Competent in Microsoft Office and digital service management systems (SAP and Service Max experience beneficial)

Desirable

• IOSH qualification
• Experience working within nuclear or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
