Job summary

A leading engineering consulting firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled HV Cable Design Engineer to provide expertise in cable system design. The role entails managing cable design projects, preparing design calculations, and engaging with clients to ensure project scope is met. Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, be proficient in CYMCAP, and possess excellent communication skills. Experience with transmission underground cable systems is advantageous, and knowledge of AutoCAD/MicroStation is desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience required.
• Competency in CYMCAP or similar software is essential.
• Experience with Transmission voltage level underground cable systems is desirable.
