Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment in Peterhead, Scotland, is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to support a major earthworks and construction project on site.

You will write and review RAMS, carry out site inspections and audits, ensure compliance with legislation, and promote a proactive safety culture with ISO-aligned practices. NEBOSH Construction cert and CSCS card required; role is site-based with a 2-year project duration.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Construction Health & Safety certification is essential.
• CSCS card is required.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and site compliance procedures.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the site.
• Good IT skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in investigating accidents, incidents and near misses.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily HSEQ support and guidance to site teams.
• Write, review and update RAMS to minimise risk.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and compliance checks.
• Ensure all practices comply with legislation and company procedures.
• Support safety alerts, toolbox talks and project reporting.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions as required.
• Advise on specialist HSEQ matters including fire safety and machinery safety.
• Attend site meetings and work with client and project teams.
