Lead HSE Advisor – Hyperscale Data Centers (UK)

Job summary

CTS Group is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to lead health, safety and environmental activities on large-scale hyperscale Data Centre projects in the UK. You will report to the Project Director and drive a safety culture across site operations.

The role involves close collaboration with project management, client representatives, subcontractors and the broader delivery team to ensure safe, compliant and efficient execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related discipline.
• NEBOSH Diploma/IGC or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor desirable.
• 5–7+ years HSE experience in construction or mission-critical environments.
• Experience leading HSE teams on large-scale Data Centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety management systems.
• Proficient in audits, inspections, client reporting, regulatory compliance.
• Mentoring and developing HSE Advisors and Officers.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Fluent English; Norwegian HSE knowledge desirable.
• Hyperscale Data Centre experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project management, client representatives, subcontractors, and delivery teams to ensure safe execution.
• Drive safety culture and engagement across site operations throughout the project lifecycle.
