Barnardo's is seeking a dedicated worker to join our dispersed houses for young people aged 18-25, to lead in delivering this essential service. The role involves visiting supported accommodation, ensuring safety, and supporting residents to develop independent living skills.

You will assist with benefit issues and housing registrations, and take a lead in coordinating move-ins and move-outs, with some staff and building coordination responsibilities.

Qualifikationen

• Assessment of need and risk, and suitability of placements.
• Safeguarding issues within multi-agency frameworks.
• Commitment to service user participation as a core value.
• Ability to resolve issues and avoid placement breakdowns.

Aufgaben

• Lead in delivering the service within a small team.
• Work with young people in supported accommodation to promote independence.
• Assist with benefit issues and social housing registrations.
• Coordinate planned and unplanned move-ins/outs from accommodation.
• Manage aspects of the work including some staff and buildings.
