Job summary

LLOYD'S REGISTER INTERNATIONAL is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team of housekeeping staff in a care home. You will ensure the residence is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness at all times for residents and visitors.

You will manage the cleaning rota, plan weekly laundry, order products, and stay up-to-date with infection control procedures. Excellent record keeping, communication, and time management are essential, along with knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH.

Job description

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be leading a team of housekeeping staff ensuring that the care home is maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness at all times for our residents. You'll manage the cleaning rota, leading by example. And, whether planning the week's laundry, ordering a new batch of cleaning products or reading up on new infection control procedures, you'll always have the wellbeing of our residents in mind above anything else.

We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a cleaning Supervisor role. It is important that you have excellent record keeping, good communication and time management skills. You'll have great knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations, as well as infection control. It is essential that you have the ability to prioritise tasks, have a flexible approach and have the ability to supervise, lead and develop the housekeeping team members.
