Job summary

HC-One Windsor Court is seeking an experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in a dementia, nursing and residential care setting. This full-time role (32.5 hours) runs Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 15:00, ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming home for Residents.

You will manage rotas, supervise staff, oversee laundry and supplies, and uphold infection control and COSHH standards. We value kindness, organisation and proactive teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping with team leadership.
• Knowledge of infection control and COSHH.
• Ability to manage rotas and stock supplies.
• Friendly, positive and kind communication with residents.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cleaning rota and daily schedules.
• Lead by example and support the housekeeping team.
• Oversee laundry for personal and shared items.
• Order cleaning products and supplies.
• Follow and update infection control procedures.
• Keep records and complete cleaning checks.
• Ensure safety and COSHH guidelines are met.
