Job Title: Lead Housekeeper at The Chimneys Clinic

This full-time role involves working 37.5 hours per week within our Housekeeping team. The Chimneys Clinic is a service dedicated to women with emerging or personality disorders.

You will lead the housekeeping team, overseeing cleaning across all areas including wards, offices, bedrooms, and visitor areas. Your responsibilities include providing support, guidance, supervision, and monitoring recruitment and performance reviews to ensure service continuity.

As a Lead Housekeeper, you'll support the Senior Management Team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness. You will have autonomy to establish systems, such as cleaning schedules and staffing rosters, to support the service and your team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning designated areas to the highest standards
• Reviewing and adjusting cleaning schedules to meet the needs of wards and the hospital
• Being flexible and dynamic to adapt to business needs and regulatory changes
• Ordering materials and equipment within budget
• Following Infection Control guidelines and completing audits
• Using chemicals and machinery safely, following procedures and regulations
• Managing stock levels and replenishing supplies
• Operating a documented, auditable housekeeping program
