As a Head Housekeeper at Aria Court Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring a high quality of cleanliness within the home.

About Aria Court Care Home:
After a recent refurbishment, Aria Court is now a sparkling 92-bedroom care home with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

Located in a quiet residential nook in March, Cambridgeshire, our home boasts a cinema, hair salon, and multiple dining rooms. Beautiful gardens provide a bounty of home-grown fruit and veg.

About the role:
Leading our Housekeeping team, the Head Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the highest service standards of cleaning to provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and visitors.

Salary:
£12.06 per hour.

Shift Pattern:
[TBC] hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage overall responsibility for support services within the home for laundry and domestic housekeeping.
• Support the management team in the recruitment, induction, and training of the support service team; ensuring training targets are met and the team is competent in their roles.
• Manage rotas, budgets, stocks, and reporting duties for the Housekeeping department within the home.
• Support, lead, manage, and inspire direct reports to deliver outstanding service for the home.

Training, Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position, with proven experience successfully managing a team, budgets, and targets.
• A passion for care – we’re looking for a genuinely caring individual who will put the needs of our residents first.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as high attention to detail.
