Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Manager to lead the electrical engineering team at King’s College Hospital. You will oversee day-to-day electrical maintenance, testing, and compliance across a high-acuity site.

The role manages a team of 5–6 engineers, plans schedules, and ensures safety, HTMs/HBNs compliance, RAMS and permit-to-work systems. Previous hospital or critical infrastructure experience required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 electrical qualification and 18th Edition BS 7671 compliance.
• C&G 2391 inspection and testing certification desirable.
• Experience in hospital or healthcare/critical infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 5–6 electrical maintenance engineers.
• Plan daily/weekly work schedules and manage maintenance tasks (reactive and PPM).
• Oversee electrical systems maintenance, testing and compliance (HV/LV, UPS, generators).
• Ensure safety, RAMS and permit-to-work processes are followed.
