    • Act as an Authorised Person (AP) or Competent Person (CP) for electrical systems as required.

  • Compliance & Safety:

    • Ensure all electrical works adhere to statutory legislation, Health & Safety guidelines, and NHS Health Technical Memoranda (HTM).

    • Participate in site audits and support continuous improvements to site safety and resilience.

  • Contractor & Budget Support:

    • Supervise sub-contractors and specialist vendors performing specialized electrical works or major overhauls.

    • Assist in managing material procurement, stock levels, and maintenance budgets efficiently.

    • Strong background in managing electrical distribution systems, standby generators, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.

  • Skills & Attributes:

    • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.

    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective decision-making under pressure.

    • Good communication skills for liaising with clinical staff, hospital managers, and external contractors.
