Job summary

St Martins School in Oswestry is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to lead our Primary Nurture Provision. The post is fixed term, part-time (30 hours per week) during term time plus one professional day, with a salary of £19,622 per year.

You will work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to plan, deliver, monitor and assess learning, supporting pupils with a range of needs and fostering independence, confidence and wellbeing in and beyond the classroom.

Responsibilities

• As HLTA, you will plan, deliver, monitor and assess learning to raise standards.
• You will work with the SENCO and teaching staff to support pupils with a range of needs.
• You will foster independence, confidence and resilience in and beyond the classroom.
• You will support social, emotional and mental health needs of individuals and small groups.
