Job summary

GSL Education is seeking an experienced HLTA for a part-time, long-term role in a primary school in Loughton. Start ASAP, offering whole-class cover and classroom support across EYFS to KS2.

The successful candidate will lead sessions, deliver pre-planned activities, and work with teachers to support pupil progress while maintaining positive behaviour. HLTA qualification or proven experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification is preferred or proven ability to lead a class.
• Experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 is desirable.
• Strong classroom management and engagement skills are required.
• Ability to deliver pre-planned lessons and activities.

Responsibilities

• Cover classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 with pre-planned lessons.
• Lead whole-class sessions and small-group activities.
• Support pupils to stay engaged and make progress.
• Collaborate with class teachers and school team to ensure continuity.
