Job summary

1KOMMA5° Commercial Solutions GmbH in London area is seeking a Heat Pump Engineer to install Air Source Heat Pumps in domestic properties. The role combines hands-on installation with technical review, commissioning support and customer communication on-site.

You will lead a crew, work with an electrician during commissioning, and rely on NVQ2 Plumbing & Heating or equivalent; knowledge of heat-pump installation is valued. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating, or equivalent experience.
• Full UK driving licence (no more than six points).
• WRAS knowledge is desirable rather than essential.
• UHW10/HWSS knowledge for unvented systems is desirable.
• Gas Safe certification is useful as an additional credential.
• BPEC Level 3 or equivalent qualification in heat-pump installation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install low-carbon technology in customers’ homes, beginning with Air Source Heat Pumps.
• Use training and technical learning to address installation challenges and provide low-carbon advice to customers.
• Apply heat-pump installation experience to meet the described service standard.
• Review technical specifications and mechanical drawings and collaborate on technical details.
• Work with an electrician during commissioning of Air Source Heat Pumps.
• Lead a crew, take responsibility for its work and make on-site decisions for customers and colleagues.
