Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust in Portsmouth is seeking an experienced Band 7 Nurse to lead the Haematology and Oncology Day Unit. You will provide visible clinical and managerial leadership, supporting the team to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care.

You will work with the Matron and multidisciplinary team to oversee staffing, quality, governance and resources, acting as a clinical expert and role model while shaping nursing practice and service improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration and practising qualifications.
• Proven leadership in a busy clinical unit with staff development.
• Experience in governance, safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Budget oversight and resource planning within a clinical team.

• Lead and co-ordinate the Haematology and Oncology Day Unit nursing team daily.
• Ensure a safe, effective, responsive and compassionate patient experience.
