Job summary

Maersk is seeking a motivated GWO Basic Safety Training Instructor to join the Humber Region team. You will deliver engaging GWO-based training for personnel working in onshore and offshore wind environments, promoting safe work practices.

Ideal candidates have experience in practical training or related fields, strong communication and organisational skills, and a commitment to safety. Responsibility includes travel across the UK to training centres and client sites.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent).
• Experience delivering practical training, coaching, or instruction.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel when required.
• A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging practical and classroom-based training programmes
• Develop specialist knowledge across multiple GWO and safety disciplines
• Work with a diverse range of delegates from the renewable energy industry
• Travel to training centres and client locations throughout the UK
• Be supported through ongoing professional development and instructor training
• Play a key role in preparing personnel to work safely in challenging environments
