Job summary

The Grounds Care Group in Bromley, South East London, is recruiting a full-time Grounds Maintenance Team Leader. You will lead a small team, perform varied grounds tasks outdoors, and ensure work is completed to a high standard in all weather conditions.

Requirements include PA1/PA6 certificates, a Full UK Driving Licence, and DBS plus references. The role offers a competitive £28,000–£30,000 per year, with overtime and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in Grounds Maintenance.
• PA1 / PA6 Certificates.
• A Full UK Driving Licence.
• Be a Team Player and Demonstrate Initiative.
• DBS check and two satisfactory work references may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grass cutting, strimming, shrub, bed and hedge maintenance, leaf clearance, planting, turfing, gritting and snow clearance.
• Undertake general grounds maintenance using hand tools and powered horticultural machinery.
• Lead and manage your team, ensuring members know their responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with clients to understand site needs and adapt tasks accordingly.
• Proactively plan ahead on the work schedule and suggest additional works or site improvements.
