Job summary

Your Housing Group is recruiting a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor in Manchester to manage a small team across northwest sites, delivering grounds maintenance, landscaping and environmental services to customers with high quality, safety and care.

Fixed 40-hour week 8am-4:30pm. 23 days holiday plus discretionary days, and a comprehensive benefits package including pension and Medicash. A valid UK driving licence and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance and safety practices.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervising a team of Ground Maintenance and Environmental Services Operatives and ensuring safe practice.
• Organising and planning team tasks to meet Service Level Agreements and maintain high standards.
• Carrying out site inspections using iAuditor.
• Resolving enquiries or complaints from customers or stakeholders.
• Maintaining high levels of customer service.
• Carrying out grass cutting, pruning, herbicide applications or ad hoc works.
• Be a strong team player with good communication skills.
• Be trained and competent to use a range of powered landscaping tools and equipment.
• Hold a full valid UK driving licence and perform other duties as required.
