Job summary

Idverde is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor/Foreman in Paisley to lead a hands-on team responsible for landscaping, horticulture and general grounds maintenance. You will plan daily activities, manage resources and ensure work is completed safely, to a high standard and within deadlines.

The role combines supervisory duties with practical fieldwork, offering opportunities to develop skills, supervise operatives, liaise with clients and uphold health and safety standards across site works.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping or horticulture.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.
• Knowledge of grounds maintenance practices and equipment.
• Ability to organise workloads and prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate a team of grounds maintenance operatives.
• Plan and allocate daily workloads and meet timescales.
• Carry out grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, pruning, planting, weeding.
• Operate and maintain machinery safely.
• Ensure work meets quality and company standards.
• Conduct site inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Liaise with clients and site managers professionally.
• Complete daily records and vehicle checks.
