Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks a Lead Network and Cybersecurity Engineer to deliver secure network and cybersecurity solutions for HVDC control and protection within global projects.

You will design, configure, test, and commission digital control and Substation Automation systems, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to meet high security standards. You will drive architectural design, mentor junior engineers, manage risks, and ensure solutions align with IEC 62443 and other industry

Qualifications

• Technical foundation in Industrial Networking, Systems Architecture, or Cybersecurity, via degree or certs.
• Experience in industrial control and protection systems (IEC 61850).
• Applied knowledge of IEC 62443 (parts 4-1, 4-2, 3-3, 2-4) and hands-on with security tools.

Responsibilities

• Design secure networks and architectures per IEC 62443-3-3.
• Build and maintain networking infrastructure, virtualization, and server OS configs.
• Ensure compliance with Secure Deployment Guides and Security Assurance Plans.
• Lead vulnerability monitoring, patching, disaster recovery processes.
• Oversee design, configuration, testing, FAT support, and on-site installation.
