The Role

London South East Colleges is seeking to recruit a Multi Channel Marketer Apprentice to work on lead generation and telemarketing. The post holders will operate in a target-driven environment, focusing on lead generation and demonstrating adaptability within a team setting. They will work closely with the Directorate and other College staff, with responsibilities subject to review and adjustment by the line manager in response to evolving service needs.

The Apprentice will:

1. Proactively make outbound calls to achieve and exceed targets.
2. Professionally manage inbound and outbound enquiries from employers via telephone, postal, and electronic communication.
3. Execute diverse marketing campaigns, including cold calling, email, postal marketing, and newsletters.
4. Conduct targeted marketing campaigns through daily cold calling, email outreach, postal marketing, and newsletters.
5. Proactively reconnect with former employers to re-establish partnerships and opportunities.
6. Ensure all lead and campaign contact records are accurately maintained and up to date.
7. Generate and analyse reports from online databases and software to support marketing campaign management.
8. Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance within the CRM system for effective tracking and reporting.
9. Build strong, credible relationships with employers, establishing trust and rapport.
10. Invite existing and prospective customers to events and represent the organisation at external networking events.
11. Consistently meet and exceed activity targets and KPIs.

General Duties

1. Attend and contribute to college, department, or other meetings as required.
2. Represent and promote the college at internal/external events and meetings.
3. Attend training and development opportunities as agreed.
4. Maintain and increase skills and knowledge relevant to the role through training and CPD activities.
5. The working week is to be divided between different campuses as required.
6. Maintain student and college data in line with policies and procedures.
7. Comply with relevant health, safety, security, and welfare processes.
8. The post holder may be required to perform duties other than those listed, with responsibilities subject to change without altering the general character of the role.
