Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Lead Solution Architect focused on Generative AI to support its EMEA Emerging DNB unit. You will be the technical authority on GenAI, shepherding complex customer engagements from concept to production.

You will build proofs of concept on Databricks stack, fine-tune models, and collaborate with product and engineering to shape roadmaps. This role emphasizes mentoring, rapid iteration with high-growth customers, and external thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in GenAI and LLMs for production-grade deployments.
• Strong understanding of RAG, agents, and evaluation engineering.
• Experience with distributed training, GPU workloads, and MLOps lifecycle.
• Excellent communication to explain complex trade-offs to engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as deep technical authority on GenAI, LLMs, and ML workloads in EMEA.
• Design and scope GenAI use cases across strategic accounts.
• Build proofs of concept and reference implementations on Databricks stack.
• Lead model fine-tuning and evaluation with safety guardrails.
• Mentor and enable field engineers through workshops and architectures.
• Represent Databricks publicly via talks and blogs.
