J.P. Morgan seeks a Lead Data Scientist and Generative Lead to design, build, and run production-grade ML and Generative AI services. You will set technical direction, stay close to code, and ensure security, stability, and operational rigor across multiple workstreams.

You will mentor engineers, advance enterprise AI standards, and promote scalable, secure AI adoption while collaborating with AI teams across Infrastructure Platforms.

Competenze

• Post Graduate qualification (Masters or PhD) Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics.
• Building and shipping data-driven/AI-enabled production systems with hands-on model development across ML/DL/LLM approaches.
• Strong grounding in statistics, probability, and experimental design to design evaluations and decisions under uncertainty.
• Deep hands-on experience with modern ML/DL stacks (PyTorch and/or TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Proven experience with distributed training and scalable model serving using modern architectures, tools, and frameworks.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating models in cloud production environments (training/tuning, inference, monitoring, cost).
• Strong technical depth in LLMs/SLMs, including model selection trade-offs and production serving considerations.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating RAG systems including grounding controls.
• Strong technical depth in agentic AI systems, including tool calls, orchestration patterns, guardrails, and safe outputs.

• Evaluate and harden AI-powered use cases on enterprise platforms with drift monitoring and data quality checks.
• Select and apply models end-to-end across ML, DL, and LLM-based approaches including training and evaluation.
• Co-develop and implement LLM-based and machine learning models to solve operational challenges.
• Ship reusable enablement assets for platform users and improve them via production telemetry and incidents.
• Collaborate with broader tech groups to translate business needs into technical AI solutions.
• Define standards to bake regulatory and data-privacy considerations into design and implementation.
