Job summary

Platform Property Care, part of Platform Housing Group, is seeking a Lead Gas Engineer to provide technical leadership across our gas servicing operations in Nottingham, Mansfield and Gainsborough. You will resolve complex heating issues, guide a team of engineers, and help ensure safe, compliant and customer-focused service delivery.

Reporting to the Heating Service Delivery Manager, you will mentor colleagues, support difficult appointments, and contribute to continuous improvement while

Qualifications

• ACS gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, MET1, CPA1) required.
• NVQ Level in Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation (or equivalent) essential.
• Unvented hot water qualification.
• High level of competency diagnosing and carrying out complex heating repairs.
• Basic electrical understanding of complex heating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across gas servicing operations.
• Resolve complex repairs and gain access to properties.
• Mentor colleagues and improve team performance.
• Support flexible appointments and delivery of safe, compliant services.
