The role demands 10+ years in game design, with a track record as a lead designer or core systems owner, and you will help identify opportunities for evergreen franchises while representing Tencent at industry

Qualifications

• 10+ years in game design with at least 5 years as lead designer or core systems owner on large projects.
• Proven shooter game experience with level design, 3C, combat design, and gameplay systems.
• Industry recognition through thought leadership at major conferences.

Responsibilities

• Define minute-to-minute gameplay and combat systems across platforms.
• Lead live service, 3C, progression, world interaction, and player engagement systems.
• Benchmark projects and guide design frameworks for global shooters and GaaS.
• Provide hands-on design consultation to teams on shooter challenges.
