Job summary

Multi-Medix is seeking a lead full-stack developer to drive technical delivery, integration, and ongoing development of our web app platform. You will work in a small, energetic team to ship features, fix deployments, and shape architecture while collaborating with clinicians and engineers.

The role is hybrid with four days in the office in Loughborough. You will engage with stakeholders, own critical modules, mentor teammates, and contribute to a global ultrasound testing standard.

Qualifications

• Experience with php, React, Laravel and cloud/server management.
• Basic Python skills.
• Some industry experience via work or placement.
• Experience with AWS EC2 instances.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity docker deployments.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve features on our React, php and Laravel based web and mobile application based on user feedback.
• Collaborate with developers, users and ultrasound physicists to improve user experience.
• Contribute to software design decisions and long-term system architecture planning.
• Manage and maintain an EC2 instance in AWS.
• Maintain robust testing, documentation, and version control processes.
• Help define and maintain good practices in cybersecurity, data storage, and server management.
