Job summary

Viatris is seeking a Lead Forensic Scientist to perform critical examination of products, packaging and leaflets, and to train staff and ministries in anti-counterfeiting practices. The role requires strong analytical chemistry knowledge, experience with GC-MS and FT-IR, and the ability to present data clearly in reports and presentations.

The successful candidate will manage a small team, maintain quality documentation, and contribute to project delivery while upholding EHS, GLP, and cGMP

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant field or substantial practical lab experience.
• Willingness to testify in court if required.
• Strong safety awareness and practical lab skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform examination of drug products, substances, packaging, and leaflets across languages.
• Train new forensic scientists and ministries on anti-counterfeiting best practices.
• Present data clearly, write reports, and interpret results for the Forensic Director.
