Brighton and Sussex Medical School invites applications for Lead for Clinical Teaching and Learning (Digital). The post will oversee CAPSULE, a clinical case-based learning resource used in our curriculum, and drive its integration into the undergraduate programme.

Consultant NHS Pay Scale. Dependent on clinical work being undertaken in the NHS. If this is not the case, your salary will be assessed based on your skills, experience and relevant qualifications to allocate your pay to the appropriate pay grade of University of Sussex Pay scales.
Fixed Term Contract
The postholder will provide oversight and leadership of CAPSULE , a clinical case-based learning resource which is a BSMS technology-enhanced learning product which is used nationally and locally within our curriculum. The post holder will work to further integrate CAPSULE into the undergraduate curriculum. In addition, they will provide academic leadership in the area of digital education within the undergraduate curriculum in line with the BSMS 5-year strategy.
It is open to suitably medically qualified General Practitioners, specialists in any relevant specialty at consultant level or specialist trainees that are due shortly to receive clinical accreditation within their specialty, with an established academic track record in medical education. The role is open to internal and external candidates.
We are looking for an individual with experience in digital medical education, with experience in curriculum design and digital integration.
The appointee will hold a substantive NHS contract.
From an academic perspective, this post will be based in the Department of Medical Education at BSMS.
