London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust seeks a Trust Lead for Advanced Clinical Practice to provide strategic leadership for ACP development, governance and education across the Trust.
You will work with senior leaders to drive an ambitious ACP strategy, ensure robust education, supervision and competency frameworks, and support recruitment, induction and research within ACP programmes.
The Trust Lead for Advanced Clinical Practice will provide strategic leadership for the development, implementation and governance of Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) across the Trust.
Working closely with the Chief Nurse, professional leads and senior leadership teams, the post holder will lead delivery of a multiprofessional advanced practice strategy aligned to Trust objectives and workforce transformation programmes.
The post holder will provide expert advice, leadership and professional support to ACPs from all professional backgrounds, ensuring robust frameworks for education, supervision, competency assessment, governance and continuing professional development.
They will oversee the development of trainee and qualified ACP roles, supporting high standards of autonomous clinical practice and service delivery.
The role includes leading the growth and evaluation of advanced practice across the Trust, influencing local, regional and national agendas, and maintaining strong partnerships with education providers and external stakeholders.
The post holder will support recruitment, induction, teaching, mentorship, audit and research activities within ACP programmes, promoting innovation, evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
The post holder will also undertake regular advanced clinical practice, acting as a role model and supporting newly qualified ACPs while championing the ACP profession internally and externally.
