Job summary

Senior Flow Assurance Engineer role in Leatherhead with hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 remotely). Start ASAP on a 6-month project for ADNOC H&G Debottlenecking Study. The role offers a rate of £60 per hour LTD, outside IR35, managed through Swan Recruitment Ltd.

Requires extensive flow assurance experience using OLGA, PIPESIM, PIPENET and related tools, with strong collaboration across discipline teams. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in analyzing single and multiphase pipelines (steady state and transient) using industry tools.
• Minimum 6 years in flow assurance modeling with OLGA or similar software.
• Ability to assess slugging, hydrates, wax, corrosion and mitigation methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance during study execution.
• Conduct flow assurance studies using software packages (OLGA, PIPESIM, PIPENET).
• Develop pipeline simulation models and assess results.
• Interface with client staff and discuss technical issues; travel may be required.
• Prepare technical reports in line with project quality requirements.
• Guide and supervise junior engineers; lead or participate in project teams.
• Contribute to flow assurance strategies and procedures.
• Demonstrate strong technical report writing and presentation skills.

Purpose OF The Role

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance andexpertiseduring studyexecution;
• Conduct Flow Assurance studies using software packages, e.g., OLGA,PIPESIMetc.
• Develop pipeline simulation models, perform simulations of selected cases as defined by self /projectand assess simulation results.
• Interface with client technical staff to develop and present outcomes and to discuss technical issues;Travel to client sites or offices may berequired;
• Perform design calculations and prepare technical reportsin accordance withcompany and project quality requirements.
• Guide and supervise juniorengineers;
• Lead, or be part of, project and study teams, according to the workscope;

Experience

• In single and multiphase pipelines(steady state and transient hydraulic)analyses using industry standard software, e.g., OLGA, PIPESIM,PIPENETetc. is essential.
• Minimum6years of hands-on experience in flow assurance modeling using OLGA transient simulation software.
• Assessing flow assurance issues like slugging, hydrates, wax, erosion,corrosionetc. byuse ofsimulationsoftwareand providing the best mitigation solutions.
• An ability to workin a collaborative wayas part of a multi-discipline project group with minimum supervision.
• Pipeline sizing andthermo-hydraulics Studies,transient analysis covering shut down, blowdown, start-Up, ramp-up / turndown scenarios.
• Pipeline overpressure protection studies including surge pressure analysis.
• Knowledge of flow assurance issuesincludingslugging, hydrates, wax, erosion,corrosionetc. and mitigation methods.
• Good understanding of thermodynamics and experience ofMultiflashpreferred.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
• In Flow assurance conceptual andfront-endstudies and topsides process engineering activities including process modeling in HYSYS would bean advantage but not essential.
• Operational experience would be a benefit but not essential.
