Job summary

St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an ambitious Advanced Dental Technician (Fixed Prosthodontics) to lead the development of a new specialist fixed prosthodontic service at St George's Hospital, London. You will design and manufacture highly complex restorations and implement digital dentistry technologies, CAD/CAM workflows, and drive service innovation within an NHS laboratory.

This 12‑month fixed‑term role carries Band 7 pay (£58,133–£65,261 per year incl.

Qualifications

• GDC registration and eligibility to work in the UK.
• Degree or equivalent in Dental Technology with advanced fixed prosthodontics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a specialist fixed prosthodontic laboratory service.
• Design and manufacture highly complex fixed prosthodontic restorations.
• Implement digital dentistry technologies and CAD/CAM workflows.
• Mentor technical staff and support training and workforce development.
• Depute for Laboratory Manager when required.
