Job summary

St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in London is seeking an ambitious Advanced Dental Technician (Fixed Prosthodontics) to lead the development of a new specialist fixed prosthodontic service at St George's Hospital. Qualifications

• GDC registration is required to practise in the UK.
• Degree or HNC in Dental Technology or an equivalent qualification.
• Advanced knowledge in fixed prosthodontics.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a specialist fixed prosthodontic laboratory service in a major teaching hospital.
• Design and manufacture highly complex fixed prosthodontic restorations, including crowns and bridges.
• Implement digital dentistry technologies and CAD/CAM workflows within the service.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to technical staff and support workforce development.
• Participate in governance, quality assurance and future laboratory strategy.
