Qualifications

• Full GDC registration and BDS or equivalent.
• ISFE or equivalent; within 6 months of expected ISFE date.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage referrals to ensure appropriate patients are treated.
• Respond timely to referrals from GDPs and Community Dentists with information on assessment outcomes and treatment plans.
• Refer treated patients back to the referring clinician for follow-up and ongoing oral health care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records with regard to patient confidentiality and consent.
• Audit the service to evaluate effectiveness and contribute to clinical governance and research.
