Job summary

Alarm Communication Limited (ACL) is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join our established team. You will lead on-site delivery across commercial clients in hospitality, education, healthcare and corporate sectors, installing and commissioning fire alarm, CCTV, access control and intruder systems.

Based mainly around London, the role requires regular travel into Central London and the Greater London area, with a focus on safety, customer service and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience within the Fire & Security industry.
• Proven experience leading installation and commissioning projects.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with networked fire and security systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and take ownership of projects.
• Electrically competent with a strong focus on health and safety.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willing and able to travel regularly into London and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation and commissioning of fire alarm, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems.
• Act as the primary on-site contact for customers and project stakeholders.
• Deliver projects safely, efficiently and in line with industry standards and customer expectations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults on fire and security systems.
• Complete all relevant commissioning, testing and project documentation.
• Support and mentor junior engineers and apprentices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
• Participate in the engineering on-call rota following completion of training and probation.
