Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is recruiting a Senior Engineer for a 12 month contract on large industrial, logistics or commercial projects in Wales. The role involves leading on-site engineering activities, setting out, reviewing drawings and coordinating design information, and ensuring QA and ITPs are followed.

You will manage temporary works, maintain accurate site records, and support health, safety and environmental compliance while coordinating subcontractors and resolving on-site issues.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• CSCS Card required.
• EUSR or TWC is essential.
• Proficient with Leica or Trimble surveying equipment.
• Experience managing QA procedures and ITPs.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site engineering activities, including setting out and technical support.
• Review and coordinate drawings, specifications and design information.
• Oversee quality assurance procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and temporary works.
• Produce and maintain accurate site records, including as-built drawings and technical documentation.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications and programme requirements.
• Monitor quality standards across all engineering activities.
• Support the Site and Project Management team with technical expertise.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors and resolve technical issues on site.
