Job summary

Urenco is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead a team of 10–12 Process Engineers at Capenhurst. You will drive FEED activities, ensuring high-quality concept and basic design, while aligning with Urenco standards and safety requirements.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and collaborate across Design Engineering to deliver major capital projects in a regulated, global energy context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineering (PE) registration or equivalent is desirable.
• Additional qualifications or training in Nuclear Safety or Industrial Safety would be advantageous.
• Experience leading engineering teams in complex plant design and FEED projects is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 10–12 Process Engineers and Senior Process Engineers.
• Deliver Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) including Conceptual and Basic Design phases.
• Ensure designs meet safety, regulatory and client requirements with Urenco standards.
• Collaborate with Design Managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure project delivery.
