Job summary

rise technical recruitment is hiring an Estimator in Romford, Essex, to join a long-established commercial roofing specialist. You will produce accurate take-offs from drawings, price works, review specifications, and prepare BOQs, while managing subcontractor quotations.

The role is office-based with occasional site visits to London. You will be developed into lead estimator with structured progression and training to support technical and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience pricing construction projects (roofing or sub-contractor background).
• Able to complete take-offs from drawings and produce estimates.
• Commutable to Romford and office-based.

Responsibilities

• Produce take-offs from drawings and price works.
• Review specifications and prepare bills of quantities (BOQs).
• Manage subcontractor quotations and complete PTQs.
• Occasional London site visits; predominantly office-based in Romford.
