Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is recruiting for a senior estimator role to lead a multi-skill estimating team on the Sizewell C alliance project in the UK. The role focuses on cost planning, pricing and stakeholder engagement to deliver competitive estimates across the plant, services and logistics packages.

The ideal candidate will have infrastructure main contractor experience, strong Excel capabilities and familiarity with Candy Estimating Software and RIB CostX, with alec and collaborative approach to

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel and similar software.
• Excellent client facing/communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing a multi skill level estimating team to develop cost planning and pricing.
• Feeding into the Head of Estimating to ensure consistency in estimating approach.
• Producing estimating documentation that can be assured internally and externally.
• Stakeholder management to produce the Estimate (planning, procurement).
• Presenting, negotiating and justifying prices to senior leaders and external customers/partners.
