Job summary

Contract Scotland is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its Central Scotland team. You will lead end-to-end estimating for new-build projects, undertaking take-offs, pricing and package build-ups across all trades.

The role covers industrial, commercial and social housing schemes with values up to £20m. You will liaise with subcontractors and design teams to develop robust tender submissions.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating for construction projects, including take-offs and pricing.
• Ability to develop robust tender submissions from drawings and specs.
• Strong communication with subcontractors and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end estimating process for new-build projects.
• Undertake take-offs, pricing, and package build-ups across all trade elements.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams to develop robust tender submissions.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities to ensure accurate pricing.
