Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care in the UK is seeking a Lead Equine Veterinary Surgeon to lead a progressive equine service and shape clinical standards. This leadership role offers a varied caseload across leisure, sport and performance horses within a purpose-built clinic and a supportive team.

You will provide clinical leadership, mentor colleagues, and drive development of services while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and registration with the RCVS.
• Strong leadership and governance experience in a veterinary setting.
• Mentoring and coaching of veterinary colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional clinical care across a varied equine caseload.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to the equine team.
• Drive the development and expansion of equine services.
• Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships.
• Contribute to clinical governance, protocols, and continuous improvement.
• Work collaboratively with the wider practice leadership team.
• Participate in a shared on-call rota and weekends.
