Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care is seeking a Lead Equine Veterinary Surgeon to guide a busy equine service and lead a skilled team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality client care, clinical governance, and service development within a collaborative practice.

You will oversee complex cases, mentor colleagues, and work with the leadership team to shape clinical standards and outcomes across the service.

Qualifications

• Registered veterinarian with the RCVS and extensive equine experience.
• Experience mentoring and leading veterinary colleagues.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience contributing to clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical standards and governance in the equine service.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to the equine team.
• Drive development and expansion of equine services.
• Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
