Job summary

Buckingham Futures is seeking an Environmental Protection Team Leader to manage a team of up to eight staff in West London, delivering statutory protections and complex casework. You will provide technical guidance and ensure services meet regulatory requirements while driving performance and service improvements.

Ideal candidates hold a Degree in Environmental Health with CPD, membership in a relevant body, and a recognised management qualification.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health or a relevant discipline.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) and membership of a relevant professional body.
• Recognised management qualification or equivalent experience.
• Postgraduate qualification or equivalent in a relevant area is desirable.
• Project management qualification or experience is desirable.
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across boroughs and airports.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of up to eight staff and oversee casework in environmental protection.
• Provide specialist technical advice and ensure compliance with legislation and guidelines.
• Lead service improvement, performance management and resource planning.
• Work with residents, businesses, agencies and partners to deliver outcomes.
