Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is seeking an Engineering Surveyor to lead surveying, setting out and dimensional verification across civil, structural and mechanical works at the Hinkley Point C project. You will work with cross‑discipline teams to ensure design alignment, quality and timely delivery.

The role involves coordinating survey activities, maintaining control networks, supporting constructability reviews and driving continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Surveying, Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professionally accredited by AssocRICS or MRICS preferred.
• Experience in Dimensional Control or Engineering Surveying in large projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead dimensional control and surveying across complex projects.
• Carry out setting out for civil, structural and mechanical works.
• Manage survey control networks and coordinate systems on sites.
• Analyse survey data, identify deviations and provide documented solutions.
• Produce detailed survey reports and technical documentation.
